Voter Registration

Nebraska Revised Statute 32-310 requires that Nebraska VR provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to register to vote at the following times in the VR Process:

  • When applying for services
  • During an IPE Annual Review
  • When notifying Nebraska VR of an address change

To register to vote in Nebraska, an individual must:

  • Be a United States Citizen;
  • Be at least 18 years old on or before the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November
  • Reside in Nebraska
  • Not have a felony conviction, or if convicted, must have completed the sentence including parole
  • Not have been declared mentally incompetent by a court
